Do Ask, Do Tell — Student Veterans Come Out

“Do Ask, Do Tell” first appeared in the Spring 2011 issue of Etc. Magazine. This article is a provocative retelling of how three former veterans (now CCSF students) were forced to conceal their identities under ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ (DADT), a law prohibiting LGBT people from serving openly in the United States military until 2011.
